Kindergarten Teachers

I have enjoyed working in several creative fields prior to teaching however I have always felt drawn to education. After raising our young children I went back to school. Now that I have been in the classroom (since 1999), I find it my most creative endeavor. Although I have enjoyed the opportunity of teaching first, second and third, kindergarten is my cup of tea. For the past twenty years I have lived in San Anselmo with my husband, our two children and our many doggies. Hobbies? The kindergarten classroom is really fun and keeps me busy in many exciting ways. After a good day in the class I love the time to garden, wish for a clean house, eat a delicious dinner and walk some dogs. |

Meredith Williams |
Meredith grew up
in Mill Valley and it was at Strawberry Point Elementary School
that she knew she wanted to become a teacher. Her role model was
her 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Hoopes, who always cheered Meredith on,
introduced her to exciting books and gave her lots of great
hugs. Meredith LOVES teaching kindergarten and thinks that she has the best job in the world! This will be Meredith’s 7th year teaching kindergarten at Manor School and she feels so lucky to come from Petaluma to school everyday to teach the awesome kids of Fairfax and learn new things from the amazing teachers that she gets to work with. When Meredith is not teaching, she is busy playing with her son Sam, hiking with her husband Adam (he’s a teacher too!) and cuddling her fat cat, Billy. Meredith also loves to bake, visit the Farmer’s Market, read and think about kindergarten. |
