Dear Ross Valley Families,
I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation. To keep in step with Ross Valley School District's continuing efforts to become "greener," the majority of our annual Back-to-School information is available on our website. This page will provide you with important information for both students and parents.
Please review all information carefully, download the forms that are applicable to you, and complete and return them to your child's school office no later than Friday, August 24th. If you prefer a paper packet, please call your child's school office to request the Back-to-School information. Leave your name and mailing address and a packet will be mailed to you in August.
Important Dates / Information – Mark Your Calendar

- Annual Proof of Residency for Returning Families
If you missed the June opportunity to provide Proof of Residency, there is still time in August. If you have more than one child in the District, you can provide Proof of Residency at just one of the sites.- Elementary Schools: Wed, Aug 8 through Wed, Aug 15 from 8:00am – 1:00pm
- White Hill: Thurs, Aug 9 through Fri, Aug 17 from 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Elementary Schools: Wed, Aug 8 through Wed, Aug 15 from 8:00am – 1:00pm
- Student Class Assignments and Schedules
- Elementary Schools (Brookside Lower, Brookside Upper, Manor & Wade Thomas) - Class lists with student's placement will be posted at each elementary site on Friday, August 17th,
at 4:00pm. Information will not be released prior to this date and time, and only the names of students will appear on the list for whom parents/guardians have provided Proof of Residency.
- White Hill – Student Schedules will be distributed at Orientations (for dates/times, refer to the letter that will be sent from White Hill) and will only be provided to students whose parents/guardians have provided Proof of Residency.
- Elementary Schools (Brookside Lower, Brookside Upper, Manor & Wade Thomas) - Class lists with student's placement will be posted at each elementary site on Friday, August 17th,
- All Grades / All Students
- 1st day of school is Monday, August 20th

General Information & Optional Release/Authorization Forms - The following forms are optional and only need to be completed if applicable. All applicable forms must be completed on an annual basis (a separate form for each child). If you prefer a paper packet, please call your child's school office to request the Back-to-School information. Leave your name and mailing address and a packet will be mailed to you in August.
Educational Field Trip Driver Form - Required for any driver driving on a district school event, regardless of whether or not they are transporting students.

Form only needs to be submitted once during the school year, unless insurance information changes.
Note: A copy of your auto insurance policy declaration page/coverage needs to be submitted with Driver Form.
Annual Pesticide Notification Form - Required only if you wish to be notified before a pesticide is applied at your child's school.
Authorization to Administer Medication/Treatment & Authorization to Release Information to Physician Form - If your child needs to have medication administered while at school, please contact the school office.
Student Accident & Sickness Insurance Program – Required only if you wish to apply for Coverage.

Mail completed application to insurance company (see application for mailing address). Do not return it to your child's school office.
Note: The District does not assume responsibility for medical treatment (ambulance transport, surgery, hospitalization, etc.) due to accidents.

Mandatory Information and Forms – The following information and forms will be distributed the 1st day of school at the school sites (they are not available on the District website).
Completed forms are required for each student (a separate form for each child) enrolled in the Ross Valley School District. to the student's school no later than Friday, August 24.
