Opinion Surveys
The district regularly conducts surveys of our parent community, student population and our staff to gauge how we're doing and to provide a further voice to those who want to comment on our progress, programs, culture and environment. Additionally several statewide surveys are administered periodically.
The Parent Survey is typically conducted near the end of the school year and results are reviewed by the School Site Councils at the beginning of the next school year. Once the Site Council has had time to review and discuss the results, they will be posted to the internet.
The Student Survey is conducted at each site at various times, usually near the end of the year. Results are reviewed by the staff and site council to help inform decision making and has a strong focus on school environment and the student experience.
The Staff Survey is also conducted near the end of the school year. All results are reviewed by the Superintendent and Human Resources department and individual departmental/site results are reviewed by the Superintendent and the department head/site administrator as a tool to improve management, environment and efficiency. As the survey encourages open and anonymous feedback, the results can contain confidential personnel related information and as such they are not released to the public.
