Celebrating RVSD's Continued Academic Achievement and Improvement

At last night’s Board meeting, we celebrated the continued academic growth taking place across our district. We were proud to share the results of the 2025 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), which reflect the hard work of our students, staff, and families. These results not only demonstrate meaningful progress toward grade-level standards but also affirm our shared commitment to excellence and equity for every learner. They serve as a powerful guide as we continue building on our successes and strive for continued academic achievement across all our schools.

Important Updates on E-Bike Safety for Students

Across Marin and the state, we’ve seen a dramatic rise in the popularity of electric bicycles (e-bikes) among young people. If you’re a parent of a 4th-8th grader, I'm sure you’ve heard all about them from your child! Unfortunately, we are seeing a concerning increase in serious e-bike-related injuries, especially among students ages 10 to 15, including internal bleeding and brain trauma from the excessive speeds and the weight of e-bikes when students crash.
