The RVSD Parent/Guardian Task Force was formed in the spring of 2020. The Task Force is a partnership between RVSD staff and parent/guardian representatives from our five schools. The group meets regularly to engage in conversation about racial equity in RVSD. Among the accomplishments of the Task Force are the development of the Racial Equity Mission Statement and the District Equity Board Policy. The Task Force provides input into the Racial Equity Action Plan, which is updated annually.
