Manor School

Marin's first Expeditionary Learning School!

Welcome to Manor!

  • Welcome to Manor Elementary School – Marin’s first Expeditionary Learning School! Manor School is located in the beautiful Oak Manor neighborhood of Fairfax, California in Marin County.  Our school serves approximately 270 K-5 students. In partnership with EL Education, the Manor staff and school leadership work collaboratively to create a comprehensive teaching and learning framework that incorporates meaningful and relevant project-based learning grounded in real-world problems (expeditions). There is a deliberate focus on character education through our Manor PRIDE habits of heart and habits of learning. We work in partnership with parents and community members to ensure that all students are engaged, happy, and successful learners. At Manor School, we believe all students can excel to their fullest potential when provided with high-quality instructional programs and highly skilled teaching and support staff. We emphasize a love for learning, academic rigor, a strong connection with our community, and positive character building.

  • New Student Registration

To register a student who is not currently attending a school in the Ross Valley School District, visit Student Registration for process information and forms.  Click on the applicable school year.

    For the 2019-20 School Year

Online Registration begins Friday, January 25, 2019, and In-Person Registration begins Monday, February 4, 2019.  We do not accept registration items via fax, mail, or email.  Please note that only completed registration packets are accepted and each is date/time stamped.  A completed registration packet includes the online Student Registration Forms on SchoolMint and the In-Person Forms and Documentation.

To assist the District in enrollment, staffing, and facilities planning, please complete the registration process by March 1 or as soon as possible.  Because many elementary grade levels and schools in the Ross Valley School District are impacted, if more students register at their school of residence than can be accommodated, even if by March 1, students may be assigned to another district school where space is available.  Any reassignments will be determined prior to the student’s first day of attendance.
