Wade Thomas is a highly regarded school serving approximately 377 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our school is located in a quaint neighborhood in the heart of San Anselmo and stands on the site of the original grammar school built in 1898. The school has a long history of academic excellence and community involvement. In addition to the core curriculum, all students have weekly Music, Art, PE, and Library classes and access to technology in their classrooms. The campus has two large playgrounds and a separate Kindergarten playground and eating area, a large grass field, a beautiful garden with raised beds and outdoor classroom, and a multi-purpose room for school-wide assemblies and special events. A variety of lunchtime activities and clubs are offered to engage all students.

Wade Thomas received the California Distinguished School Award in 2018.
